We have been slowly getting back into out groove after the Christmas season.
John is at such a fun age and has the biggest imagination EVER! While we were decorating for Christmas he acted like he was Santa wearing stockings on his feet and his Santa hat. He kept telling us we better be good or we won't get a visit from him. Silly boy!
Love these two precious blessings more than words can express!
Impromptu photo for Grandma and Grandpa. Kelly did have a bow in here hair but this mommy is losing the battle on making her wear bows. I believe that one day she will decide that wearing a bow is a cool thing!
After finishing up our semester we headed home to hangout with our families!
John loves Christmas trees! I think this next year we are going to buy him, his very own tree. During the early morning and evening hours he would just sit in front of the tree looking at all the ornaments. It is precious and nice because he wasn't running around like a mad man!
Sweet baby girl loved pulling all the ornaments off the tree...so she spent much of her time in trouble..not really.
We celebrated Christmas Eve with the Hatch family! Here are almost all the grandkids we were just missing Emily. Fun was had by all trying to get everyone to look in the same direction not sure if anyone was truly successful.
After leaving Christmas #1 we headed back to Mimi and Papa's to prepare for Santa.
We left reindeer food for the reindeers because they were going to be working hard flying Santa all over the world in one night!
Then we sat out a variety of cookies and some milk for Santa!
On Christmas morning the weather was said to be getting hazardous so we did our own little family Christmas, which we have never done in our whole married life. The reason why we were concerned with the weather was because Andrew was going to sunny San Diego for the Holiday Bowl with the Elk City Marching Band...jealous...more on that later.
What does a silly 3 year old ask for Christmas from Santa? A giant tuba! This is not a joke he was stuck on getting a tuba...but instead Santa got him a cool harmonica
and a tuba shirt!! He also left John a letter explaining why he didn't get a tuba.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours! I will one day get a picture where everyone is smiling and not making funny faces or playing a harmonica...one day, one day.
On Christmas evening we always head to the Storjohann Christmas! Santa makes a special visit.
During this Santa encounter Kelly reacts the same. John informs Santa that his beard isn't suppose to cover his mouth because we are suppose to see his mouth. He also sat on Santa's lap forever! Chatting good ole Santa up and telling him some crazy tall tales.
Though it wasn't on Christmas Day, we still had a Happy Birthday Jesus party with all the Storjohann/Hatch grandkids.
Papa read the story of Christmas to the kids.
Then we sang Happy Birthday and opened the door to let Jesus blow out his candle. The look on the kiddos faces was priceless they were in awe that Jesus really blew out his candle!
I now leave you with this sassy little girl! She is one of my favorite gifts ever and I love her oh so much!
There you have it, this is how we spent most of our Christmas break. Hopefully I will be back soon for the rest!
