Yes, I know it has been a LONG time since I last updated but trust me life has been a little crazy!
Warning this could be a LONG post.
EASTER 2011
We started off this wonderful weekend of remembering with John's first Easter egg hunt!!

He loved picking up eggs and throwing them in his basket but he also had to check out what was inside too!

Here we are, we all had a blast watching John hunt eggs!

John of course had to show his daddy his favorite toy outside, the toy house! Every time I look out the backdoor he is playing in this house.

Shortly after the hunt, we headed to Owasso!
John wasn't too thrilled with the Easter bunny so grandmother took him to Build-a-Bear to make an Easter monkey. John loved giving him a bath because he could brush his hear...

Grandmother named the monkey, Claude. John loves his Claude, he plays and sleeps with him all day, everyday!
SURPRISE!!!!
We finally told our parents, grandparents, and best friends about our expected arrival of our new hatchling!!

John was a great way to tell everyone because who could resist this sweet little guy! Our families were thrilled so now we can anticipate the secret of the gender!!!
John will tell you, "mommy baby in tummy" and give my belly a kiss. It is the sweetest thing ever but I just hope he adjusts well when the baby actually arrives!
We also dyed eggs this year with John. He loved it because he was making things colorful and mixing the colors!

He didn't like it when he got splashed but learned quickly that if he stuck half his hand in the dye there was no splashing...just colorful hands!
On Easter Sunday we headed over to my Grandmothers house to have a family dinner. We met my brothers new girlfriend and had many laughs watching John entertain us.

The last time I posted was about Spring Break, we received some amazing news: we were expecting a surprise blessing! Yes, baby #2 is on its way expected to arrive around November 17.

We chose to keep it a secret until we go to the doctor and such, just to make for certain it was a baby! We are super excited and I wish there was a better story behind it but God truly answers prayers!EASTER 2011
