I love how John is obsessed with wearing his costume it made getting him ready for Trick 0r Treat a lot easier. Yet I didn't get a great picture of him in his whole costume because he is a two year old with his own agenda.

So this is the best we could get and notice that he isn't wearing "boots", he is our tennis shoe wearing Sheriff Woody. The only sad thing was that his hat did NOT fit his huge head and the sizing said it would fit a head up to 7 year old...sizing must be a little off or John's head is bigger than a seven year old.
So daddy was taking a little too long to get ready and our little sheriff was getting really impatient.

This is John's impatient pouty face and he was running around saying "Daddy hurry!" I think he was a little excited to get some candy or to go to the Med Church (this is what he calls the Methodist Church where he attends school) for some trunk or treat (which he did on Wednesday). So I kept reminding him we are going to visit people at their house to say "Trick or Treat" to get candy.
The first house we went to was a friend of our friend Heather. Since that is where John's Heather was handing out candy plus we knew them so it wasn't scary for this mommy to let him get candy.

Our friend Heather was Lady Gaga for Halloween. She was afraid that John would be scared of her but he just laughed at her and called her silly. He might of been the only trick or treater to visit their house but he was a special little guy who loves his Heather.
As the sun started to go down we finally stopped on a street on the nicer side of Weatherford (the more neighborhood style streets) to let John do some trick or treating. He is such a serious observant little guy!

We brought the hat along and Woody, Buzz and Jessie were in the car as well! I would say that the ten houses he went to gave him plenty of candy mostly chocolate which he doesn't eat and a few suckers (which are now gone!).
We also made a special visit by Andrew's mentor and Weatherford band directors house so they could see John in his costume. We ended up staying for a good two hours just visiting with he and his wife. John's third Halloween was a success and now the candy needs to disappear so this pregnant lady won't eat all the chocolate. Now if his costume will fit him till his third birthday we will be in great shape for his Buzz and Woody birthday!
