Cake Face!

5 Days!
So here is a recap of our Valentine's Day 2010!

John sporting his only shirt with a heart on it since I didn't find a single shirt at any store that I liked...but he still looked super cute!

Showing off his sweet skills of standing all alone! Please excuse the massive tower of stuff on the bed in the background life has been super hectic around here but trust me it is all clean now! We were trying to get him to pose standing up but he is still a little bottom heavy so he falls a lot!

The following pictures are of John's V-day present from Uncle Mark, which is John's first cake!

Of course it is a monkey! We were all wondering how much of it would be cake versus icing so let see what John thinks!

At first he was super timid trying to figure out what was going on since he never gets sweets. So he finally dug his little fingers into the icing and it was all downhill from there!

I think that we can say that it was a success, he loved the icing and I think he was able to get some cake too. He was kicking his little legs, spreading icing all over the tray, and grinning the whole time, too bad after next weekend it will be back to his wonderful life of eating healthy/organic (just really hope it doesn't mess him up in anyway...)

Here is the aftermath, which resulted in a bath since he decorated his belly, hair, and the high chair too! Thank you Uncle Mark for the sweet present, John truly enjoyed every minute while he attempted to eat his first cake!
