This day was the most anticipated day of the whole trip! We were up early and scrambling around to make sure we have everything for the day and that everyone was ready to go by 9:45am!
Here we are waiting for the bus to arrive...which didn't happen until about 10:15am. So we made sure that bubba was all bundled up and his ears were protected from the brisk morning wind! So as we waited all the little kids were talking about how excited they are to visit Silver Dollar City, it was so cute and we were so happy that they couldn't wait!!
So it was opening day of the season and the lines to get in were super long since people didn't purchase their season passes online like normal individuals...umm me included but I didn't think that I needed one. When all the tickets were bought we entered the town and the kids were so excited! We explained to them that they must stay close and hold hands with an adult, which they did really well!!

They have changed so many things about the park since we were there almost 5 years ago. They have added new rides like the one above, you pretty much have to pull yourself up and then you slowly go down, it is called the Silo. So the idea is to have someone who is really light and then one who is strong to really make it work.
This seat allows people to rest their achy feet by vibrating your whole body...so it was on and we all decided to try it...
Now it is time to have some fun and ride all the rides!! Well at least in the ones we all could ride.
Bubby was such a good little guy, he just slept his afternoon away while we all rode rides! We didn't leave him alone he stayed with Papa Dave and Grandmother. When he did wake up he was a hungry little boy and wanted to walk everywhere!
I am not for sure if you can see Maggie's face but she was screaming "Daddy STOP!"
She was all excited to ride this ride until it got really high and then she had enough and wanted it to stop. The poor little girl but she was ready to ride the next ride in like 2 seconds.
Our last big stop was the train, which has a skit that goes along with it about these two guys who hold up the train and such. Over the years the story really hasn't change except now their ma is dead so they aren't looking for her anymore. It was still a great time and the kid were so worn out that they pretty much fell asleep!
We all had such a fun time together and I don't think there are even words to explain how special this day was but I am so glad that we were all able to go!
Hope you all have a great weekend! We are super busy but it is all almost over!!
