John John, you're 15 months old!
You have turned into one busy little boy always doing something but that is perfectly fine with us because it is fun chasing you around.
Your personality is HUGE but when new people are around you become shy and slowly warm up.
Like always you are learning something new each and every day, I am pretty sure that today will not be any different.
What have you been up to this month:
Trying to jump,
Starting to trot/run,
Climbing more and more
Following simple commands like take it to daddy
Getting real good at throwing a ball even though it doesn't go more than four inches in front of you
Talking a little bit more
and
With in the last couple of days you have become a social butterfly or just really curious about your surroundings.
You love playing with brooms and mommy is fine with that because in a weird way you are sweeping the floor.
With the nice weather you love to be outside! We ask if you want to go outside and you grab your shoes and actually sit still so we can put your shoes on, then you are standing at the door ready to go.
You love riding in the car and have noticed that you can look out the window so that keeps you pretty entertained while we are driving. Plus now that we can see your face our conversations are working better.
You currently have 8 teeth but you are really working on having 4 more which are you eye teeth and I think these are the most painful ones yet. With teething comes your wacky eating of not really interested unless it is cold or super soft like bread. Old faithful mandarin oranges still hits the spot for you! You are eating more table foods but on occasions you still eat baby foods that have meat in it since you don't like real meat. Cows milk and juice we are still trying but you would rather have mommy's goodness and water since you aren't use to getting sweets juice has to pretty much be watered down.
We can tell that you have grown taller since you only have two pairs of pants that fit you in length but thank goodness it is spring time.
Since you haven't been to the doctor since your 12 month check up, we are unsure of your weight and height but sometime next week we should know. Everyone comments on how small you are but then they look at us and comment at how small framed we are compared to the general public. Yes you are small but we all grow at our own pace!
You are currently wearing 12-18 month clothes but some 6-12 months still fit, size 4 shoes, size 3 diapers but 4's will soon be needed since you have a huge belly, and your shirts are still being bought one size larger to fit over you big head.
You still love for mommy to read to you! I think that we read about 4 books almost every hour some days we read more but on average it is 4. We bought you 7 new books this month so your book collection is going to be huge! You have a new favorite book it is 5 Ducks with a button that makes the quacking noise and you love to push it!
You love music and certain beats get you moving a little! Every time that Canon in D plays on your gloworm, you sit there and conduct or if you hear it you stop dead in you tracks and smile really big! You are still dancing to some questionable beats but it is super funny since you are discovering that you legs can dance too! Listening to mommy sing every nursery rhyme always seems to find you comfort when you are fighting sleep and hit the spot when you want to attempt to dance.
Today you are also receiving you first chair which is a Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair but the cover won't be here till next week some time but I am pretty sure we will be trying it out once it gets here today!
