Today has been a busy day to say the least.
It all began at 6 am this morning waking up and getting ready to go to the city. Then we had to get our little man ready which is always interesting because you never know what he is going to do, well luckily today he didn't surprise us with anything. Then about 730ish we were off to the city to meet with John's surgeon. I don't know if anyone has been to OU Childrens but it is HUGE and we were just in the physicians building. We were almost to the office where we were helped by John's doctor, which if John ever needs surgery I will be taking him to Dr. Mantor!
We met with the doctor, who checked him out just to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed to worry about, John does have a tiny hernia in his belly button but it will go away by itself and everything else looked good! Now for the real reason why we had the appointment. As of right now he is NOT going to have surgery because of where the cyst is located which is around his tailbone, if it was closer to his spinal column then surgery would be a must, but we are going back to have an ultrasound at the end of April just to make sure the cyst is not causing any problems internally. So cross your fingers everything looks good!!
Oh a little side note John is weighing about 12 pounds now so that would be close to 2 pounds in one week...he is such a big boy and growing too fast!!
After the doctor we decided to take John to see the Easter bunny since it is his first Easter. John did pretty well but then began to scream but we did get a good picture.
Hope everyone is having a great April Fools Day!!
